Mate Origins is a free Autodesk Inventor add-in for fast assembly alignment. It adds two commands to the Assemble tab so you can constrain multiple occurrences back to a single reference component without creating three flush constraints by hand for every part. The standard Mate Origins command takes the first selected occurrence as the reference and creates flush constraints between the matching origin planes of every other selected occurrence. This is useful when you want several components to share the same origin definition immediately. The Mate With Offsets command opens a mini toolbar where you can enable or disable the YZ, XZ, and XY plane pairs independently and enter offset values for each direction. An optional Multiply Offset Value setting lets those offsets step outward across the selection, which is useful for quickly spacing beams, brackets, and repeated assembly members.
